Description: Blue Chert KY Big Sandy - This piece was sold to me years ago as Blue Carter Cave Chert and it may well be. However, I now believe it may be a Sonora Variant because of the pitted material. It is a well flaked Big Sandy that has a small ancient tip ding. I think it was probably needle tipped and it snapped off. .
